In 2015, we set the pace for digestibility testing on rawhide alternatives with our longstanding partner Dr. Tim Bowser, a food scientist and leading expert in digestibility. Dr. Bowser is now an industry leader in digestibility testing in the rawhide alternative chew space, using learnings at Earth Animal to help create safer chews at other companies. We are proud to be on the forefront of safety for animals. And, true to its reason for creation, we pride ourselves that No Hides continually offer greater digestibility over rawhide.
Our testing protocols:
We use a 24-hour in-vitro test to understand total digestibility in the stomach (6 hours) and intestine (18 hours). Gastric and intestinal juices are used to mimic the dog’s GI tract. Scores are based on degradation “digestion” of the product.
We annually benchmark our product for digestibility against rawhide and our key competitors to ensure our stringent safety guidelines are met.

Our very food-finicky Siberian husky loves these chews! I bought 2 of them. They’re costly and didn’t last a long time (less than an hour) but he enjoyed them very much. I’ve given him many different healthy treats but he’s so finicky he’ll go hungry if he doesn’t like his food!! Just wish these were affordable!

We bought this after our puppy goes through bully sticks in about 30minutes to a few hours or so. We’ve now had it for at least a week and he is still working on it! For a while he got a little bored of it so we took it away for about two days and now he’s back to being obsessed with it! Highly recommend for teething puppies

So happy i found these at a local specialty pet store – even happier to find them on-line! i have 2 older rescue dogs that are HUGE chewers! i stopped buying rawhide sometime ago, toys, natural (stinky) animal bones were not cutting it! My big malamute shepherd mix has a super sensitive tummy and nothing was agreeing with him. since trying these (every flavor) we’ve had no issues! he’s happily back to having chewing chill out time before bedtime! thank you! 🙂

My Aussies have always loved these treats, all except the Salmon flavor. Hardly ever finish one before they want a new one. Expensive but our fur babies are worth it. Local stores never have what I need or the quantities wanted so to order direct is a plus.
